Review by hotel critic
Hotel Rio Piedra was a charming stay in the heart of Nuevalos, offering a warm welcome with a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. the rooms with their wooden beamed ceilings exuded a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the nearby Monasterio de Piedra Monastery. the free Wi-Fi throughout the property was a bonus for staying connected while enjoying the picturesque views of the lake from the room. The restaurant's wide selection of wines paired beautifully with the traditional homemade dishes served, creating a delightful culinary experience. the lounge area with a fireplace and the outdoor terrace surrounded by beautiful gardens provided a serene setting to unwind, with the option to enjoy table tennis for a bit of fun. Although we didn't get to use the seasonal outdoor pool due to the rainy weather, the overall stay was enjoyable. the staff, particularly the friendly girl at reception, made us feel well taken care of, despite some minor inefficiencies. In conclusion, Hotel Rio Piedra offered a comfortable and welcoming retreat, ideally located for exploring the cultural gems of Spain. I recommend it for a peaceful getaway with a touch of Spanish hospitality.
